We’re hiring experienced Lead Fiber Technicians to support a large-scale data center build-out in Burlington, TX. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys leading teams, and has strong hands-on experience with fiber optic installation and cable management.

You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining critical fiber infrastructure that supports high-performance data environments.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Fiber Installation & Maintenance

• Install, test, and repair fiber optic cables and splice enclosures
• Troubleshoot signal issues and ensure optimal network performance
• Conduct routine inspections and audits of fiber routes

Project Coordination & Team Leadership

• Lead field teams and oversee daily work execution
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors on installations
• Support project timelines and ensure quality standards are met

OSP Network Expansion

• Assist with installing new fiber lines, conduits, and aerial systems
• Support infrastructure expansion for new data center builds

Documentation & Site Work

• Conduct site surveys and assess installation feasibility
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, network updates, and testing results

Safety & Compliance

• Follow strict safety protocols (heights, confined spaces, electrical)
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards

✅ Required Qualifications

• Experience with fiber optic installation and cable management
• Proven team leadership or foreman experience in a technical field environment
• Strong understanding of fiber infrastructure and OSP work
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• Excellent communication and attention to detail

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
