Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school-based environment highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ needs and develop intervention plans tailored to support their academic and functional goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in individual or group settings
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into the learning environment
  • Monitor progress, maintain precise documentation, and participate actively in IEP meetings
  • Educate school staff and families on accommodations to promote student independence
  • Adapt equipment and materials as necessary for student participation
  • Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where all students can thrive
