Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: 106 Roche Drive, Durham North Carolina 27703
Shift: M – F 2:00pm to 10:30pm
Candidate will be trained on first shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm for the first 4 to 6 weeks

ACTUAL JOB TITLE IS: Manufacturing Production Test Technician
Summary
Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, configuring, and repairing Parata Max vial-filling machines to ensure each unit meets quality, performance, and customer configuration requirements before shipment. Works closely with manufacturing leadership to meet production and shipping priorities
Must Have
- Electromechanical testing and troubleshooting, basic schematics and electrical systems
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Safety shoes (steel/composite) required, safety glasses provided
- Candidate must have reliable transportation.
- Occasionally the candidate may be required to lift or move at least 50 pounds.
Nice To Have
- Two (2) year degree in applied technical sciences or equivalent from vocational or related technical college
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- AAS in a technical field preferred or 3–5 years hands‐on experience with electronics/electromechanical systems.
Required Skills:
- Read/interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Use multimeter and electronic diagnostic tools
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues
- Follow detailed test procedures and documentation
- Perform software installs, firmware updates, and configurations
- Strong communication and teamwork
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality
- Perform functional testing of vial-fill machines
- Validate performance, accuracy, safety, and reliability
- Document results, defects, and fixes
- Ensure units meet quality and customer specs
Troubleshooting & Repair
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues
- Use schematics and diagnostic tools to identify failures
- Perform repairs, calibrations, and adjustments
- Collaborate with Engineering/Technical Support as needed
Configuration & Software
- Load software and execute firmware updates
- Configure machines per order requirements
- Verify accuracy of programmed settings and labeling
Production & Collaboration
- Align work with production priorities and shipping schedule
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area
- Provide process-improvement feedback
- Assist in training new technicians
Documentation & Compliance
- Accurately record work in MES systems
- Follow all safety, quality, and standard work procedures
- Support continuous improvement and corrective action efforts
