MRI Technologist | Hayden, Colorado

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to contribute to a healthcare facility’s imaging department during the summer months. This contract position focuses on providing high-quality MRI imaging services in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Schedule:

• 3 days per week: Wednesday – Friday
• 12-hour day shifts
• No call or weekend shifts

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT(MR) certification or equivalent required
• Minimum of one year’s experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting
• Strong understanding of MRI safety practices and protocol
• Proficient in performing routine and complex MRI scans
• Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the exam
• Operate MRI equipment, ensuring accurate, high-quality diagnostic images are produced
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal study completion and patient care
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies
• Adhere to strict safety standards and infection control protocols
• Troubleshoot technical problems with imaging equipment as needed
• Provide clear instructions and support to patients before, during, and after procedures
