Travel Cath Lab Technologist Assignment

Soliant is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist (ARRT) for a travel assignment in Hazard, Kentucky. This opportunity is based in Prestonsburg, Kentucky at a regional medical center supporting a high-volume Cath Lab and EP Lab with STEMI-capable services and advanced interventional cardiology procedures.

Assignment Details

• Location: Hazard, Kentucky
• Schedule: Days | 4x10s | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Hours: Full-time
• Call: 8–15 days/month + 1 weekend every 3 weeks
• Start: Upon offer (must apply for KY licensure immediately upon acceptance if needed)
• Orientation: Bi-weekly start cycles
• STEMI response requirement: 30-minute callback window

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures in a high-acuity Cath Lab setting
• Support complex cardiac device procedures including pacemakers, ICDs, balloon pumps, Impella, and other advanced circulatory support systems
• Perform table panning and assist with radial and groin access cases alongside physicians
• Participate in EP lab procedures (ablations) with cross-training opportunities provided

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience required
• Active ARRT certification required
• Kentucky license required or willingness to apply immediately upon offer
• BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
• Must respond to STEMI alerts within 30 minutes
• Strong experience with interventional cardiology and cardiac devices preferred
• Must reside 75+ miles from facility (no local candidates)
• Valid driver’s license required with submission
