Full-Time | Outpatient Orthopedic Practice
Location: Springfield, Massachusetts
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join a growing orthopedic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a PA to develop or advance their career in a collaborative, high-volume orthopedic environment while working closely with experienced orthopedic surgeons and clinical teams.
Orthopedic experience is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive structured training, mentorship, and support to build clinical expertise.
ResponsibilitiesProvide orthopedic care in both clinical and surgical settings
Perform patient evaluations, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments
Assist orthopedic surgeons in the operating room as a first assist
Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care
Educate patients on treatment plans, recovery, and follow-up care
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Participate in hospital rounding and call coverage as needed
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Manage patient care while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current PA-C certification or actively pursuing certification
Eligible for Massachusetts state licensure
DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (or eligibility)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Interest in orthopedic care strongly preferred
Prior orthopedic experience preferred but not required
Full-Time position
Outpatient orthopedic setting
Patient volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
Patient population: Orthopedic patients of all ages
Start Date: ASAP
