Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable Material Handler for a 3-month contract assignment in Albuquerque, NM 87121, paying $17.00 per hour, with the potential for a temp-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment, prioritize safety, and be able to work independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Casual dress code
• Steel-toe shoes required

• Load, unload, and move materials within or near the work site.
• Fill orders and issue materials and supplies using RF scanners and warehouse systems.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZ-Go carts, hand trucks, and dollies.
• Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Support inventory management and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, organized warehouse environment.
• Ability to read and understand labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, carry, and move packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
