Job Description
Our client is seeking a General Liability/Civil Litigation Paralegal to join its growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys supporting attorneys through all phases of complex general liability cases.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide litigation support to attorneys handling General Liability matters from case inception through resolution.
Draft, edit, proofread, and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and other legal documents.
Assist with case management, including maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and managing litigation calendars.
Prepare and organize exhibits, deposition materials, trial binders, and hearing notebooks.
Coordinate document production, review, and electronic document management.
File legal documents electronically in state and federal courts.
Review medical records, discovery responses, and case-related documents.
Communicate professionally with clients, experts, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, depositions, mediations, and hearings.
Maintain accurate billing records and time entries, as required.
Qualifications
2+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in General Liability or Insurance Defense.
Strong understanding of the litigation process and court procedures.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Professional demeanor and commitment to providing high-quality legal support.
