Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy services in an educational setting near Cambridge, MA. This position combines the dynamic environments of both a high school and a college, offering a chance to support diverse students through summer programming. The assignment runs from July 6th to August 6th, with a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule, 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, totaling 20 hours per week—ideal for those who value work-life balance during the summer months.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts
  • Experience in school-based OT required; home health or broader healthcare OT skills beneficial
  • Strong ability to adapt treatment plans for adolescent and young adult populations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with school staff, students, and families
  • Comfortable working across both high school and college settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Occupational Therapy services to students, focusing on individualized education plan (IEP) goals and functional skill development
  • Assess student needs, design interventions, and document progress in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create supportive, developmentally appropriate strategies
  • Facilitate group and one-on-one therapy sessions both on-site at the high school and the college
  • Maintain organized records and ensure timely communication with relevant teams
