Pay rate: $70 - $75.00/hr on W2.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Principal Software Test Engineer – Automation to support advanced medical device software development. This role focuses on designing scalable test automation frameworks, developing Python-based automation solutions, and driving quality strategies for complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and enhance test automation architecture and frameworks
• Develop automation tools, test scripts, simulations, and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system quality, reliability, and testability

Required Skills:

• Strong Python automation development experience
• Expertise in automation framework architecture and design
• Systems-level testing and quality strategy experience
• 7+ years of relevant software test engineering experience
• Experience with Java, Python, C/C++, or C#

Preferred:

• Medical device software testing (IEC 62304/FDA)
• UI automation tools (Ranorex, Appium, Squish, Katalon)
• Git, Agile, QT/QML, TestRail/Polarion/JAMA
• Hardware debugging and integration testing experience
