Financial Associate III
Location: On-Site Whitakers, NC
Pay Rate: $38.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.Position Summary
The Accounting Coordinator will coordinate and review financial reports for areas of emphasis and follow-up, educate customers on various aspects of accounting or finance operations, and support other financial processes as needed. This position involves collaborating cross-functionally, preparing financial documents, and managing general ledger activities, with a particular focus on capital project accounting and CIP tracking.Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate aspects of accounting or finance operations or subsystems.
  • Resolve issues in daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual processes involving various internal and external customers.
  • Develop and analyze data for management reports, forecasts, and plans; manage customer inquiries and related processes.
  • Prepare journal entries, invoices, and other accounting documentation.
  • Perform account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process.
  • Support daily financial processes such as purchase requisitions, invoice reconciliation, supplier payments, requests for checks, and questions concerning monthly budget data.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel—confidently works with spreadsheets and formulas.
  • General ledger experience, including recording journal entries and performing reconciliations.
  • Background in capital project accounting, especially experience with CIP tracking.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various teams.
  • Experience with Oracle systems preferred.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • High School Diploma and three years of relevant experience
  • Associate’s degree and one year of relevant experience

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to educate and support others regarding accounting processes.
