- Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fisheries operations and biological tagging.
- Training provided—no prior experience required.
- Work in a collaborative and safety-focused environment.
- Performing routine fish identification duties, including coded-wire tagging, fin clipping, body tagging, elastomer and freeze brand marking, and other marking techniques.
- Cleaning and sanitizing trailers, work areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and other employee spaces to maintain a safe workplace.
- Assisting lead staff with quality inspection of fish marking, trailer setup, and transferring fish from ponds or net pens to the trailer.
- Administering employment paperwork to new hires, such as employment applications, releases, and I-9 forms.
- Supporting the Mobile Automated Tagging System (MATS) trailer supervisor in a variety of operational and technical tasks.
- Helping with quality control checks and compiling marking data and crew hours.
- Are detail-oriented and comfortable working in a team setting.
- Are able to follow instructions and work under close supervision.
- Can complete basic paperwork and assist with onboarding new employees.
- Are willing to perform physical tasks and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
- Have a passion for fisheries or biological sciences (preferred but not required).
- Are available for 1st shift and able to work at Marblemount, WA.
