Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity at a K-12 educational setting near Rochester, MI is for a dedicated School Psychologist, collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators while serving a diverse caseload of students with moderate to severe disabilities.

Your expertise will help create a positive learning environment and ensure every student can thrive. This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week across the academic year, offering you the chance to build lasting relationships and make a meaningful contribution.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology required
  • Active Michigan School Psychologist licensure
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong understanding of assessment, intervention planning, and special education processes
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and write clear, actionable reports
  • Provide direct and consultative support for students with moderate to severe disabilities
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, contributing professional insight
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
  • Develop and support behavior intervention plans
  • Offer crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
