American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a diagnostic radiology position in Elizabethtown, KY, requiring ARRT certification and an Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited program.

  • Diagnostic radiology unit within a hospital setting
  • \n
  • Performs general X-rays, fluoroscopy, and specialized radiographic procedures
  • \n
  • Evening shift, Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
  • \n
  • 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
  • \n
  • 13-week contract

Requirements\n
    \n
  • Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology Technology Program (military training graduates of a JRCERT-accredited program validated by active ARRT certification also accepted)
  • \n
  • Active ARRT certification required
  • \n
  • Active Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy licensure required if applicable
  • \n
  • Current BLS certification required
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment operation, and radiation safety practices
  • \n
  • Candidate must provide MM/DD of DOB and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Responsibilities include performing radiographic examinations, operating imaging equipment, and applying ALARA radiation safety principles
  • \n
  • Duties include image review and quality control, as well as documentation in the EMR or RIS
  • \n
  • Collaborates with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate imaging services and support patient care
  • \n
  • Prior experience in a hospital or medical imaging facility is preferred but not required
  • \n
