Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), 13-week assignment with guaranteed 72 hours per two-week period
Highlights:- Work at a Magnet-designated acute care facility with 407 staffed beds and Level II Trauma designation
- Perform 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, stereotactic biopsy, fine needle aspiration, and needle localizations
- Flexible block scheduling available with advance time-off requests considered on an individual basis
- Epic charting system in a state-of-the-art imaging department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Free parking provided and scrubs supplied by the facility
- Experience Alaska's unique lifestyle while advancing your career in a nationally recognized healthcare setting
- Valid Alaska State Radiologic Technologist license or pending license (processing takes 10-12 weeks)
- ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system or equivalent EMR experience
- Skills in 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, stereotactic biopsy procedures, and isolation precautions/PPE
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (travel assignment only)
- Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
