**Exciting Opportunity for an Interventional Radiology Technologist!** **Job Description:** - **Position**: Interventional Radiology Tech - **Experience**: Minimum 5 years required - **Traveler Experience**: Required - **Local Candidates Accepted** **Key Skills & Responsibilities:** - Proficient in Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures - Operate and maintain equipment and stock supplies - Perform life-saving procedures such as: - Angioplasty - Chest Tube Placement - Embolization - Gastrostomy Tube Placement - Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) Filter Placement - Liver Biopsy - Mesenteric Angiogram - Stent Placement - Thoracentesis - Catheter/Drain Exchange - Cystoscopy - Internal/External Biliary Drainage - Nephrostomy - Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiogram - Renal Artery Stent Placement - Ureteral Stent Placement - Central Venous Access/Port Placement - Managing Ports and Central Venous Lines (non-Tunneled/PICC lines) - Set up equipment and prepare access sites - Circulate and scrub to maintain a sterile field - Follow isolation precautions and rapid response protocols **Certifications Required:** - ARRT R - BLS **Preferred Certifications & Skills:** - ARRT VI - PACS - TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt) - Computed Tomography - Familiarity with GE Innova IGS and Siemens Systems - Proficient in performing EKG lead placement and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias - Experience with Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose) **Schedule:** - Average Daily Census: 8 - Visits/Day: 2 - Shift: M-F 4x10, 0630-1700 - Call Requirement: Weekend call (Sat/Sun), rotating weekday call - Weekend Call: 1:5 ratio; two 24-hour call shifts in five weeks **Patient Demographics:** - Acute inpatient and emergency department procedures - Outpatient routine procedures focusing on: - Bleeds - Cancer care - End-of-life support - Fibroids - Vascular disease - Urological comorbidities **Special Equipment:** - Siemens single plane and GE Biplane - Ultrasounds and monitoring equipment **Unit Systems:** - Medication: Pyxis - Documentation: EPIC - Communication: SBAR **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
