American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a 13-week inpatient assignment at a large hospital in Dallas, TX.
Details\n- \n
- Inpatient physical therapy unit within a 899-bed acute care hospital in Dallas, TX \n
- Shift options are either 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM \n
- Patient ratio of approximately 12–14 patients per therapist \n
- Float coverage across rehab and acute care areas \n
- Weekend rotation required, with at least 2 weekend days per 4-week block schedule \n
- Holiday coverage is required \n
- EMR: Meditech \n
- \n
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care PT experience required; allied candidates must have at least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months \n
- Inpatient rehab, acute care, and/or SNF experience required \n
- Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start) \n
- Active PT license required, if applicable \n
- ICU and wound care experience preferred \n
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration \n
- Professional reference required (quantity varies by state: 2 references for Florida and Missouri; 1 reference for all other states) \n
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months \n

- Primary responsibilities include patient evaluation and treatment across acute care and inpatient rehab settings \n
- Ideal candidate is positive, collaborative, and proactive in communication \n
- Hunter green scrubs required \n
- Nail policy prohibits artificial nails, dip powder, or gel polish; nails must be kept short \n
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible for this position \n
