Job Description
Our organization is in search of a full-time board-certified or board-eligible Pathologist with expertise in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
Position Overview:- The selected candidate will become part of a collaborative team consisting of six general, hospital-based Pathologists and two Pathology Assistants, managing two community hospitals along with several critical access facilities.
- The workload includes a variety of biopsies, intricate resections, and non-GYN cytology, with no GYN cytology performed.
- Responsibilities will include providing frozen section coverage and attending fine needle aspirations to assess adequacy.
- Autopsies are infrequently conducted.
- While specific subspecialty training is not mandatory, experience in cytopathology or gastrointestinal pathology would be advantageous.
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, valuing positive relationships with clinical colleagues.
- A willingness to engage in clinical lab management and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards is essential.
