Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Lee's Summit, MO, requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and Meditech charting knowledge.

Details\n

\n
• Located in a hospital main OR setting with 5 operating rooms
\n
• Surgical specialties include orthopedics, spine, vascular, general surgery, colorectal, robotic, GYN, and ENT
\n
• Patient ratio is 1:1 (RN to patient)
\n
• Daily OR team consists of 5-6 RNs, 6 Techs, 1 Anesthesia Tech, and 1 OR Analyst
\n
• Standard OR equipment used
\n
• Documents on Meditech — knowledge of this system is required
\n
• Shift hours are 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
\n
• 2–6 call shifts required per month
\n
• No floating required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active MO RN license or compact RN license required
\n
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)
\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR nursing experience required
\n
• Meditech charting system experience required
\n
• Strong vascular skills preferred
\n
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
\n
• Two professional references required
\n
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
\n

• Scrubs are provided by the hospital

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
