American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, day shift (07:00 - 17:00), with on-call requirements one weekday per week and every fourth/fifth weekend (Friday 18:00 - Monday 07:30). Approximately one Saturday per month scheduled as part of regular shifts. Guaranteed 70 hours per two-week period.

- Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation to support successful onboarding
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
- Exposure to diverse procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, vascular interventions, and occasional pediatric cases
- First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Active Alaska RN license (pending licenses accepted for submission; license must be in hand for final offer)
- Minimum two years of Cath Lab nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Epic charting system experience required
- Willingness to float to Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) as needed
- Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
- Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Availability to work two of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
This 13-week travel assignment offers the opportunity to work in Alaska's premier healthcare facility while gaining experience with advanced cardiac procedures and specialized equipment including Impella, balloon pumps, laser, rotablator, shockwave, and CSI technology.
