Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist, Reg, 2-5 yrs Contract

Job Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, provides technical assistance to the Radiologist, and maintains and cares for all ultrasound equipment. Responsibilities include preparing and examining patients for ultrasound procedures, operating and adjusting equipment, ensuring safety precautions, maintaining supplies, mentoring new personnel, capturing images onto PACS, and performing administrative tasks such as scheduling and answering telephones.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
\n
• 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
\n
• Knowledge of office and administrative practices
\n
• Skill in using personal computers and software
\n
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions
\n
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
\n
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion
\n
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
