\n\nOpportunity:
\nNuclear Medicine Tech - Nuclear Medicine Tech
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work with inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients including cardiac, GI, pulmonary, oncology, PET scans, and DAT scans
\n• Staffing model of 2-3 techs per day seeing between 7-18 patients per day between cardiac and general work
\n• PET staffing model is 1 tech per day supporting 5 patient slots per day with independent workflow
\n• For the second half of the contract, will rotate with staff for PET scans at the Cancer Center located 1 mile away
\n• 12-hour orientation to learn department flow
\n• Weekend rotation is call only
\n• On-call schedule includes 1 call shift per weekday, end of shift until 0600 the following morning
\n• 1 weekend on call every 4th weekend, end of shift Friday until Monday at 0600
\n• Potential of taking call 1 holiday per contract
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n• First-time travelers are welcome
\n• Required certifications: BLS, NMTCB
\n• Must have knowledge of basic nuclear medicine principles and practices
\n• Must be able to start IVs
\n• Experience with GE equipment (any models) and SPECT CT required
\n• Preferred charting systems and equipment: EPIC, GE 850, McKesson PACS, and Nuc Trak
\n• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
\n• Scrub color: Any

\nThis facility is a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with 80 beds, providing comprehensive care across a wide range of specialties. The department is supported by a Department Supervisor and other Nuclear Medicine Technologists, ensuring a collaborative and well-structured work environment. The facility offers a robust nuclear medicine program serving both inpatient and outpatient populations with advanced imaging capabilities.
