American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Plainview, Nebraska.

Location: Plainview, Texas
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Weekend coverage required as needed with 6 weekend shifts per contract period. Block scheduling required. Patient ratio of 4:1. No on-call required.
Highlights:- 13-week travel assignment at a 49-bed Short Term Acute Care facility with Level IV Trauma Center designation
- Charge nurse responsibilities with minimal orientation required upon start
- 8-bed Emergency Department with average daily census of 40 patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and radiology
- 40 hours of paid orientation to support transition into the role
- Free parking available in unrestricted spaces
- Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Previous charge nurse experience required with ability to assume charge duties immediately
- Experience with 4:1 patient ratios required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Must provide 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Clean background check required (facility does not accept Nursys or background hits)
