American Traveler is seeking a compassionate RN for an Acute Care position at a hospital in Hot Springs, SD, requiring an active SD or compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.
Details- Acute care unit within a hospital setting
- 12-hour varied shifts
- 13-week contract
- Active RN license in South Dakota or a Compact State license currently in hand
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
- Deliver and coordinate nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administer medications, fluids, and respiratory treatments as prescribed
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, and discharge care
- Provide leadership and guidance to assigned staff, including assisting with orientation of new team members
