Gateway Regional Medical Center is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team on days. Working under the guidance of our RN team, you'll provide direct, compassionate patient care that supports stability, safety, and healing - in a unit where empathy and steady presence make a real impact.

This is a great opportunity for a new grad looking to build a strong clinical foundation in behavioral health, or an experienced LPN who's drawn to this specialty and thrives in a collaborative care team.

What You'll Do

• Deliver patient care using core vocational nursing skills and techniques
• Work under RN supervision to carry out patient care tasks and support the broader care plan
• Communicate and collaborate closely with RNs and the rest of the care team
• Help ensure patients receive safe, attentive, and compassionate care throughout the shift

What You Bring

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current Illinois LPN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Willingness to complete Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training within 1 month of hire
• Clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Physical stamina and emotional resilience for a behavioral health setting
