Overview

Step into a pivotal Quality role supporting Global I&C, where you translate contractual and Westinghouse quality program requirements into practical plans, verify software and product conformance, and guide teams through audits and corrective actions. You will report to the Manager, I&C Quality and Operations Planning. This is a hybrid position based in Warrendale, PA.

A Day in the Role

Your week blends focused reviews with cross-functional collaboration:

  • Embed contractual and Westinghouse quality program requirements into project planning documents and procedures.
  • Perform in-process software audits and document findings to drive improvements.
  • Coordinate preparation for, and support the execution of, customer audits.
  • Provide shipment certifications for products leaving GICP by reviewing records to confirm full conformance with contract and Westinghouse quality program requirements.
  • Review and comment on technical and project documents to ensure clarity, compliance, and quality rigor.
  • Support Global I&C by coordinating Level 3 procedure maintenance activities.
  • Confirm CAP items are driven to effective closure in alignment with the corrective action program.
  • Coordinate, participate in, and lead internal audits; support ISO certification audits.
  • Provide consultation to GIC managers and personnel on quality program questions.
  • Offer feedback on proposed Level 2 procedure revisions.
Where You’ll Work

Hybrid schedule from our Warrendale, PA office, collaborating with engineering, operations, and quality stakeholders across Global I&C.

Qualifications
  • 6+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in Quality Assurance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience in the nuclear sector preferred (not required).
  • Familiarity with ISO standards; knowledge of ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 App. B, and 10 CFR 21 preferred.
  • Working knowledge or hands-on experience with ISO 9001.
  • SAP familiarity is a plus, not a requirement.
