Job Summary * Design 3D/IMRT/VMAT/SBRT treatment plans using computerized 3D planning system with optimal beam geometry, directions, and weights to deliver a prescribed radiation dose and spare critical structures in accordance with the Radiation Oncologist's prescription for patients receiving radiation therapy. * Communicate technical information and provide support to radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiation therapists, and other staff to advise in the implementation of designed treatment plans. * Identify and contour normal and dose-limiting structures by utilizing images from one or more data sets. * Perform image registrations with various data sets including but not limited to CT, MRI and PET. * Participate in continuing education and quality improvement processes. * Educates students and visiting professionals in the technical aspects of treatment plan development in radiation therapy. * Participates in and supports clinical research projects.
