What You Will Do
You will support direct patient care under physician supervision to help create a seamless care experience by:
- Serving as the liaison between the patient and physician to “establish and maintain quality patient care”
- Assessing patients and families, planning and implementing care, and evaluating outcomes
- Taking vitals, administering medications, and assisting with exams and procedures
- Documenting patient history, chief complaint, medications, and more in the EMR
- Ordering tests, obtaining prior authorizations, and coordinating referrals and scheduling
- Preparing and stocking exam rooms and supporting daily clinical operations
- Providing compassionate support to patients and families thought the care process
What You Bring
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Current LPN License
- Experience with EMRs (Athena preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to care
- Previous outpatient or primary care experience preferred
