Job Title: Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
Location: Lake Geneva, WI
Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 40 Hours Per Week
Pay Rate: $50 - $55/hr
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for an exciting Contract opportunity in Lake Geneva, WI.
Responsibilities
Collect and process patient specimens.
Perform laboratory testing in Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Microbiology (as applicable).
Conduct high-complexity testing in accordance with CLIA regulations.
Analyze and verify test results for accuracy and validity.
Ensure turnaround times are met and critical values are communicated appropriately.
Perform quality control and proficiency testing.
Troubleshoot quality control issues and instrumentation concerns.
Perform instrument maintenance, calibration, and minor repairs.
Document laboratory activities accurately within EPIC and laboratory information systems.
Assist with implementation of new methods and instrumentation.
Participate in staff training and competency programs.
Required Qualifications
Education verification required.
Must meet CLIA 493.1489 qualifications for high-complexity testing personnel.
Current MLT or MLS Generalist Certification OR Specialty Certification in Blood Bank (BB), Chemistry (C), Hematology (H), or Microbiology (M).
Holiday Coverage Required.
No On-Call Requirement.
