Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Norton, Kansas
Duration: 13 Weeks

Primary Schedule:

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• 5 Days/Week (includes every other weekend)

Alternate Schedule:

• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Friday – Sunday)

Hours: 35–40 Hours per Week

We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will support daily living activities, promote resident comfort, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Support mobility, transfers, and proper positioning of residents.

• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.

• Assist with feeding and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.

• Follow infection control and safety protocols.

• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.

• Accurately document care using electronic charting systems.

• Active CNA certification (Kansas or compact eligibility preferred).

• Previous experience in long-term care or nursing home settings preferred.

• Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

• Private guest room provided within an assisted living facility.

• Private bathroom with shower and secure access.

• Access to laundry facilities and shared kitchen.

• Up to three (3) meals provided daily during working shifts.

• Long-Term Care / Nursing Home setting.

• Team-oriented environment focused on resident-centered care.

• Role requires physical activity including lifting, standing, and bending for extended periods.

• Facility serves a small, rural community and emphasizes respectful, culturally sensitive care.

• Staff are expected to maintain professionalism while accommodating resident preferences.

• COVID-19 vaccine exemptions are accepted.
