Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Norton, Kansas
Duration: 13 Weeks
Primary Schedule:
6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
5 Days/Week (includes every other weekend)
Alternate Schedule:
6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Friday – Sunday)
Hours: 35–40 Hours per Week
Compensation: $20/hour [Local] / From $850/Wk [Travel]Position OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will support daily living activities, promote resident comfort, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support mobility, transfers, and proper positioning of residents.
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
Assist with feeding and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
Follow infection control and safety protocols.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Accurately document care using electronic charting systems.
Active CNA certification (Kansas or compact eligibility preferred).
Previous experience in long-term care or nursing home settings preferred.
Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
Private guest room provided within an assisted living facility.
Private bathroom with shower and secure access.
Access to laundry facilities and shared kitchen.
Up to three (3) meals provided daily during working shifts.
Long-Term Care / Nursing Home setting.
Team-oriented environment focused on resident-centered care.
Role requires physical activity including lifting, standing, and bending for extended periods.
Facility serves a small, rural community and emphasizes respectful, culturally sensitive care.
Staff are expected to maintain professionalism while accommodating resident preferences.
