Gateway Regional Medical Center is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our Cardiology clinic team. You'll be a key part of the patient experience from start to finish - managing check-in, scheduling, and patient flow, while supporting the office's clinical and administrative needs in a specialty setting.

This is a great opportunity for a new graduate looking to start a healthcare career in cardiology, or an experienced MA who enjoys variety and direct patient contact.

What You'll Do

• Support the delivery of office-based healthcare and patient care management
• Direct patient flow throughout the physician's office
• Manage patient check-in and appointment scheduling
• Maintain accurate patient financial records in support of office operations
• Provide a smooth, well-managed close to each patient visit
• Answer and direct phone calls appropriately

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Office or medically related experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
