Nammo Perry is a center of excellence for the design, development and production of munitions and pyrotechnic products for the U.S. Department of Defense. Nammo employees working at the Florida site manufacture all types of 40mm low and high velocity ammunition; pyrotechnic marking; signaling and tactical illumination devices; battlefield effects training simulators; demolition charges; hand grenade fuzes; and other ammunition components. Additionally, they provide load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services for large caliber direct-fire ammunition.
The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for preparing, negotiating, and reviewing various company contracts, such as purchases, sales, and business partnerships. The ideal candidate will demonstrate keen attention to detail and identify potential risks and strong analytical skills to analyze contracts, aiming to reduce costs and maximize profits while ensuring compliance with legal regulations. This role will involve ensuring that all our contracts align with regulatory requirements and effectively contribute to our company’s objectives

What You’ll Do: Precision in Action
- Reviewing, negotiating, and approving contracts and purchase orders
- Maintaining contractual records to company record retention and federal policy
- Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions
- Preparing sales and purchase contracts
- Explaining terms and conditions to managers
- Monitoring compliance with legal standards
- Managing contract renewals and modifications
- Liaising between project managers and other parties
- Ensuring timely payments and delivery of services
- Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms
- Monitor legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed
- Track and monitor monthly sales to completion
- Ensure all internal controls are met for accurate invoicing and participate for internal and external audits
- Update and maintain accurate records in D365, including forecast orders/sales, actual and planned shipments (invoicing) and contractual due dates.
- Aid Business Development in the preparation of proposals in response to customer Requests for Proposals and Requests for Quotes. Specifically: maintain accurate Past Performance records to support proposal preparation.
- Participate in contract review meetings to support Business Development and Program Manager sales objectives.
- Provide contractual support to Program Managers in the day-to-day operations
- Track and maintain contract data records lists (CDRLS) and other contractually-required data items ensuring timely submission and compliance
- Assist with communicating contractual requirement to all relevant internal customers
- Maintain adherence to Company policies and procedures, safety and environmental standards, and good housekeeping practices
- Maintain good employee relations, and adherence to Affirmative Action Plan, Labor Laws, and EEO rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
What Dedicated Teammates Bring
- BS degree in Business Administration, or related field/degree and three (3) years of relevant experience in contract management
- Working knowledge of legal & compliance requirements involved with defense contracts
- Familiarity with accounting procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

- Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
