Cashier/Server

Mecatos Bakery & Café Located in Metrowest 2900 S Kirkman Rd. is looking for a Full/Part time cashier bilingual (English & Spanish) to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged. This position is for alternating shift and must be available weekends.

****BILINGUAL (ENGLISH & SPANISH) ****

Pay is 14.00 +$2-$3.50 dollars additional in tips per hours

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and leaving the business
• Maintain store and surrounding areas clean
• Accurately process all cash and credit card payments
• Provided exceptional customer services
• Serve and package customer orders
• Restock front of house items
• Conduct deep cleaning of front area and customer seating area

Qualifications

• Prior work experience as a cashier or customer service preferred
• Basic mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Ability to learn and move quickly
• Ability to lift at least 20lbs
• Looking for Part time and Fulltime
• Must be available to work weekends

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• 6+ months of experience in the customer service industry
• 18 years or older
• Restaurant back of house skills: safe food handling
• Restaurant front of house skills: serving in fast casual
• Restaurant front of house skills: drive thru
• Restaurant front of house skills: point of sale (POS) operation
• Restaurant front of house skills: running food
• Restaurant front of house skills: front counter
• Retail skills: customer service
• Retail skills: point of sale (POS) operation
• Math skills: counting cash drawer
• Comfortable handling customer complaints
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Available to work: weekends
