Job Description
Job Title: Material Handler
Industry: Food Manufacturing
Location: Sidney, OH 45365
Shift: 2nd Shift
2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Saturday OT as needed
Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
• Transfer and blend materials per production requirements.
• Package, stack, pick, and prepare shipments.
• Perform inventory transactions using a computer.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and SOPs.
Requirements:
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift and move materials in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to work overtime.
Preferred Experience:
• Material Handling.
• Warehouse Operations.
• Shipping & Receiving.
• Inventory Control.
• Manufacturing or Food Production Environment.
Work Environment:
• Manufacturing/Warehouse setting.
• Forklift operation throughout the shift.
• Steel-toed, oil-resistant boots required.
• Company provides all other PPE.
Experience:
• Forklift Operator.
• Material Handler.
• Warehouse Associate.
• Shipping & Receiving Clerk.
• Production Support roles.
