Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Furniture Delivery Driver / Assembler to join our team. This role is responsible for safely delivering furniture to customers' homes and businesses, assembling products according to manufacturer specifications, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring every delivery and installation is completed professionally and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and unload furniture safely and efficiently.
• Deliver furniture to customer homes, offices, and other locations according to scheduled routes.
• Assemble furniture and related products on-site using hand and power tools.
• Inspect products before delivery to ensure quality and completeness.
• Protect customer property during deliveries and installations.
• Demonstrate proper use and care of assembled furniture when necessary.
• Obtain customer signatures and complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Communicate delivery status and any issues with dispatch, management, and customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
• Assist with warehouse duties, inventory movement, and furniture preparation as needed.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.

Qualifications Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate delivery trucks and company vehicles.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Preferred

• Previous furniture delivery, assembly, moving, or warehouse experience.
• Experience operating box trucks or commercial delivery vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of furniture construction and assembly techniques.
