Receiving and Shipping

A warehouse receiving and shipping associate/Operator is a role focused on handling incoming and outgoing goods in a warehouse. It’s a hands-on job that keeps inventory moving accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Receiving (Inbound):

• Unload trucks and inspect shipments for damage or shortages
• Verify items against purchase orders or packing slips
• Record inventory into the system
• Label and store products in the correct location

Shipping (Outbound):

• Pick and pack orders based on customer or internal requests
• Prepare shipping documents and labels
• Load trucks and coordinate with carriers
• Ensure orders are accurate and shipped on time
