COMPENSATION MANAGER
Location; Huntington Beach, CA (onsite with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement)
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a skilled Compensation Manager to oversee and enhance our client's compensation programs. This role requires a strategic thinker who can conduct in-depth market analyses, produce insightful metrics, and collaborate effectively with other HR functions to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and optimize the company's compensation programs to align with organizational goals and market standards.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to benchmark compensation structures and identify competitive trends.
- Develop and present key metrics and reports to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with HR teams to integrate compensation strategies with broader talent management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with workers' compensation laws and other relevant regulations.
- Oversee compensation surveys to gather and analyze external data for decision-making.
- Advise leadership on compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding compensation policies and practices.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend adjustments to maintain competitive pay scales.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address compensation-related challenges and opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience utilizing the Radford compensation database.
- Proven experience developing compensation programs and structures from the ground up.
- Proven expertise in compensation analysis and program management.
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits practices and principles.
- Experience conducting benchmarking and market surveys to support compensation decisions.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in producing and communicating detailed metrics and reports.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across HR functions and organizational levels.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information effectively.
