Production Worker

PrideStaff is currently seeking a Production Worker for an industrial textile manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. This is a full-time, contract-to-permanent position with an opportunity to grow. Please see the job requirements below to be considered.

• Pay Rate: $18.00 to $22.00
• Shift: 6 am to 2:30 pm Monday thru Fridays

Key Role and Expectations:

This position supports the fabrication and manufacturing of a custom sports facility
products, including netting, padding, and windscreens. The Production Worker plays a
key role in ensuring products are accurately measured, assembled, and prepared for
shipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble custom sports facility products.
• Stretch and cut material to precise measurements.
• Safely operate equipment such as grommet machines, sewing machines (powering on/off, pedals, threading), hot knives, scissors, tape measures, and chalk lines.
• Identify and retrieve required materials; return unused rolls and supplies to storage.
• Fold, tie, and prepare finished products for transfer to the shipping department.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by using PPE, following machine safety procedures, and reporting equipment failures or defects.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, depending on task assignments.

Required:

• Ability to read and understand basic work orders and instructions.
• Physically capable of performing fabrication tasks (lifting and pulling up to 45 lbs., standing, bending, stretching, etc.).
• Comfortable working in warehouse conditions affected by outdoor weather and climate.
• Basic knowledge of measurements and math for accuracy in cutting and assembly.
• Strong attention to detail, including verifying measurements, color matches, and straight cuts.
• Reliability in following directions and collaborating with team members.

Preferred:

• Bilingual English/Spanish Highly Preferred
• Knowledge of basic hand tools
