Johnson Service Group is looking to hire a CNC Machinist to work in Burbank, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Machinist will work on titanium, steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, fabricating small parts (under 12") in short-to-medium batch runs.
- Run first-piece articles and verify parts against specifications using precision inspection tools like micrometers, calipers, and thread gauges.
- Revise and adjust G-code programs, offsets, and feed/speed rates based on cutting conditions and engineering changes.
- Troubleshoot shop floor programming and production-related issues, changing tools as needed.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings/blueprints and a solid understanding of GD&T.
