Veterinary Receptionist

Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital is seeking a positive and compassionate receptionist to join our growing team in a full time capacity. We service a clientele that appreciates a high level of veterinary care and the staff that provides it. An ideal candidate is:

• attentive and receptive to our client’s needs,
• plays a vital role in client education, and
• pays close attention to patient details.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check-in animal patients
• Gather and certify pet and owner information
• Maintain records
• Schedule appointments
• Process payments
• Encourage retail sales
• Prepare prescriptions and explain instructions
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed

The right candidate must be:

• organized
• self-starter
• dependable and computer savvy

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Veterinary technician certification preferred
• Experience with Cornerstone a plus
• Customer service skills
• Basic math skills and computer literacy
• Comfortable working with animals
