🔧 Job Overview

We’re hiring a Material Handling Associate to support warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, tracking, and moving materials, ensuring inventory accuracy and smooth operational flow.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• ✅ Receive materials, verify quantities/part numbers, and enter data into ERP systems
• 📦 Store and route materials to correct warehouse/production locations
• 🚚 Pack and prepare outgoing shipments per customer requirements
• 🔄 Transport materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified)
• 🏭 Support production with kitting, staging, and material delivery
• 📊 Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• 🏷️ Label, tag, and document materials and shipments
• 🤝 Assist with shipping inquiries, tracking, and internal requests
• 🧹 Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with 6S standards

✅ Basic Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience
• Ability to lift 35+ lbs and stay active throughout shift 💪
• Basic computer/data entry skills 🖥️
• Strong communication skills (English)
• Reliable with strong work ethic and attention to detail

⭐ Preferred Skills

• 🚜 Forklift experience or certification (a plus)
• 📦 2+ years in shipping/receiving
• 🧾 Experience with ERP systems
• 📊 Microsoft Excel & Word knowledge
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheektowaga, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
