  • Develop KPI dashboards and performance scorecards for leadership and board reporting
  • Deliver insightful variance analysis with actionable recommendations
  • Establish scalable reporting processes and timelines to improve speed and accuracy
Financial Planning & Forecasting
  • Build and maintain driver-based, three-statement financial models
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including timelines, consolidation, and approvals
  • Manage rolling forecasts and long-range strategic planning models
  • Partner cross-functionally to support departmental budgeting and headcount planning
  • Develop business cases and support strategic initiatives, including potential M&A
Revenue & Profitability Analytics
  • Analyze revenue streams, ARR composition, and pricing strategies
  • Evaluate profitability across products, customer segments, and channels
  • Monitor SaaS metrics including retention, churn, CAC, LTV, and unit economics
  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to support growth and margin optimization
Executive & Board Reporting
  • Prepare financial presentations for board meetings and investor updates
  • Support executive leadership in developing the financial narrative and strategic insights
  • Build dashboards and analyses to track performance against growth initiatives
Qualifications

Required:
  • 8-12 years of progressive FP&A and/or financial reporting experience
  • Strong background in SaaS, subscription, or recurring revenue business models
  • Proven experience building driver-based financial models and multi-year forecasts
  • Track record of owning reporting infrastructure and full budget cycles
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, executive-level insights
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Preferred:
  • Experience in HCM, payroll, or services-heavy SaaS environments
  • Exposure to private equity-backed companies or M&A activity
  • SQL or experience working with large operational datasets
  • Familiarity with FP&A tools and accounting systems
Key Competencies

  • Analytical Rigor: Builds accurate, scalable, and decision-ready financial models
  • Strategic Mindset: Connects financial insights to broader business objectives
  • Executive Communication: Confidently presents insights to senior leadership and board
