Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to join our team in a large parts distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and staging products while maintaining a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
You will work with a wide range of items—from small handheld boxes to heavy machine parts—using proper lifting equipment. You will also support forklift operations by preparing accurate pick pallets and help ensure all orders are shipped correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities- Sort and organize boxes on appropriate pick pallets for forklift operators
- Accurately pick and pack products of various sizes using proper equipment
- Use RF scanners to locate, pick, and verify inventory and orders
- Load and unload semi-trailers safely and efficiently
- Perform general warehouse duties including order picking, packaging, and inventory handling
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- 3–6 months of warehouse or distribution experience
- Experience with picking and packing in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory and order processing
- Ability to safely load and unload trucks or trailers
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Willingness and ability to learn to operate lifting equipment
- Prior forklift experience (training and certification provided)
- Experience in inventory handling, packaging, and order fulfillment
- Experience in general labor or physically demanding roles
- Comfortable working in a large, fast-paced distribution environment with forklift traffic
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
