Job Description
General Production Worker – 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Pay: $15.75/hour
This role supports various stages of a natural, eco-friendly vegetable tanning and leather production process. As a General Production Worker, you will rotate through different areas of the facility, assist with production tasks, and help maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with leather production and packaging processes throughout the facility.
- Handle raw materials and finished products, including loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Inspect products for quality and report any defects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Support different production departments as assigned and assist machine operators when needed.
- Maintain reliable attendance and contribute to meeting daily production goals.
- Previous manufacturing, production, or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and standing for long periods.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in different areas of the facility as needed.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Steel-toed shoes required.
- Stable 1st shift schedule: 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Pay rate of $15.75/hour
- Paid summer shutdown (2–3 weeks around July)

Manufacturing facility specializing in leather production. The environment may be loud, dusty, and have strong odors. Employees must be comfortable standing throughout the shift, working with raw materials, and performing physical labor in a non-climate-controlled environment. PPE is provided, and steel-toed shoes are required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.75 - $15.75/hr.
