Express Employment is hiring a General Labor/Groundskeeper in Wiggins, MS!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general grounds maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and landscaping.

• Operate lawn care equipment such as zero-turn mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and other power tools safely and effectively.

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas, including picking up debris and trash.

• Assist with planting, mulching, pruning, and basic landscaping tasks as needed.

• Perform general labor duties including loading/unloading materials and assisting with site upkeep.

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues or safety concerns.

• Follow all safety procedures while operating tools and machinery.

• Support team members with various maintenance and labor-related tasks.

• Maintain organized storage of tools, equipment, and supplies.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support grounds and facility maintenance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with grounds maintenance or general labor preferred.

• Ability to safely operate equipment such as zero-turn mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and other landscaping tools.

• Basic knowledge of lawn care, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance practices.

• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).

• Basic understanding of equipment safety and routine maintenance.

• Good communication skills and strong work ethic.
