American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii, requiring ARRT(CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of acute hospital CT experience.
Details- Acute care hospital imaging department setting
- Sub-modalities include CT and Vascular Technology
- Routine CT scans performed per radiologist protocols, with experience in MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging a plus
- Experience with venipuncture, biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke is a plus
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation experience preferred
- 10-hour varied shifts with no on-call requirement
- 13-week contract
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
- Current ARRT(CT) certification required
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment — license required if applicable
- Must be able to function independently without supervision and scan per radiologist protocols
- All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of the assignment; this appointment is scheduled at the Hilo Employee Health office on the Friday before a Monday start
- Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before their start date to attend the Friday Employee Health appointment
- Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical or religious exception is required prior to contract start; flu vaccination may be administered at the Employee Health clearance appointment
- COVID-19 vaccination required
