Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing expert occupational therapy support in an engaging educational environment. This part-time contract opportunity offers the chance to serve a diverse caseload of approximately 30 students, ranging from PreK through age 21, during the 2026-2027 school year.
What You’ll Bring:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Kansas
- Previous experience in a school setting, supporting children and young adults
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Ability to create tailored treatment plans and manage a varied caseload
- Enthusiasm for working with PreK-21 populations
- Commitment to fostering independence and facilitating student success
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services as part of a vibrant school-based team
- Assess student needs, develop individualized intervention plans, and document progress
- Work 3 or 4 days a week, offering flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student care
- Engage students in therapeutic activities that promote participation and skill development
- Contribute to IEP development and attend meetings as needed
