Principal (PK–12 Campus Leader)Where Faith, Learning, and Leadership Thrive

Peachtree Academy is seeking an exceptional educational leader to serve as our Principal (PK–12 Campus Leader). This is a hands-on, highly visible leadership role for an experienced educator who is passionate about Christian education, academic excellence, and building a school community where students love to learn and parents are actively engaged.

Peachtree Academy offers a PK–12 program that is affiliated with our feeder preschool program, Peachtree Prep. This helps build a seamless foundation for student success from early childhood through high school graduation.

We are looking for a dynamic leader who understands curriculum and instruction, values strong teacher development, and is committed to creating a structured, joyful, and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in classrooms, with families, and in leadership meetings—someone who leads by example, builds strong teams, and maintains high expectations while fostering a positive school culture.

This role is central to ensuring academic excellence, spiritual development, enrollment growth, and a thriving school community across all grade levels.



What You'll Do

Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional Leadership & Curriculum
  • Oversee curriculum implementation across PK–12 grade levels
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging, effective, and standards-based instruction
  • Monitor student achievement and use data to drive academic growth
  • Ensure classrooms are active, structured, and student-centered learning environments
  • Promote instructional practices that make learning rigorous, meaningful, and engaging
Faculty Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and support teachers and staff in daily practice
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development
  • Build a positive, collaborative, and accountable school culture
  • Support recruitment and retention of high-quality educators
  • Inspire faculty to deliver their best work every day
Student Life & School Culture
  • Create a safe, structured, and engaging school environment
  • Promote student character development, leadership, and responsibility
  • Support consistent behavior systems that encourage respect and excellence
  • Maintain a strong visible presence across campus daily
  • Foster a culture where students are excited to learn and grow
Family & Community Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with parents and families
  • Communicate clearly, consistently, and professionally with the school community
  • Encourage parent involvement and partnership in student success
  • Serve as a key liaison between families, teachers, and leadership
  • Strengthen trust, engagement, and connection across the school
Enrollment Growth & Advancement
  • Support initiatives that increase enrollment and student retention
  • Partner with admissions and leadership to promote the school
  • Help communicate the mission, vision, and strengths of the school community
  • Strengthen the school’s reputation through excellence and engagement
Operational Leadership
  • Oversee day-to-day school operations and campus management
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and expectations are consistently implemented
  • Collaborate with leadership on scheduling, systems, and school operations
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient school environment

CompensationSalary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and leadership qualifications.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Experience in school leadership (Principal, Assistant Principal, Dean, Curriculum Director or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and classroom management
  • Ability to lead, support, and motivate teachers effectively
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commitment to Christian education and values-based leadership
  • Experience working with PK–12 students or a segment of the group

About Peachtree Prep, our Early Childhood Division

The early childhood division of the school bases its academic program on a weekly unit of study for academic advancement. Teachers use lesson plans to guide the delivery of information and address individual issues of advanced skill levels or areas of improvement that are needed. Parents may supplement the curriculum by bringing in books, materials, or ideas related to the theme for the benefit of the class.
