Drill Press Operator
Location: Belmont, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $18.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a stable opportunity with a great schedule? We're seeking a Drill Press Operator. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating drill press equipment to accurately machine steel components while maintaining quality and production standards. Enjoy a 4-day work week and become an important part of a hardworking team.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Drill Press Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Operate Drill Press Equipment: Set up, adjust, and operate drill machines to drill, bore, ream, mill, or countersink steel pieces.
- Inspect and Measure Parts: Use micrometers, scales, and indicators to verify dimensions and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain Production Quality: Ensure parts meet specifications while following safety and quality standards.
In addition, you will be expected to assist with general production duties and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and use a micrometer, scale, and indicators.
- General understanding of machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness and ability to learn through on-the-job training.
