Job Description
Arkansas Talent Group is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and polished Senior Administrative Assistant to support a well-established and highly respected CPA firm in Little Rock in a temp-to-hire position. This role serves as a key partner to firm leadership, playing an integral part in maintaining operational efficiency, enhancing client experience, and supporting critical business functions.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and brings a high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to partners and senior leadership, acting as a trusted extension of the team
- Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and oversee client scheduling with precision
- Prepare, edit, and finalize professional correspondence, financial reports, and client deliverables
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless and professional experience
- Maintain and enhance electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring compliance with firm standards and confidentiality requirements
- Oversee onboarding documentation, engagement letters, and client records with accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate office operations including vendor management, supply procurement, and internal logistics
- Support firm-wide initiatives and special projects, including tax season coordination and deadline tracking
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and implement best practices to increase efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of administrative experience, with prior experience supporting senior leaders strongly preferred
- Experience within a CPA firm, professional services, or financial environment highly desired
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with document management systems preferred
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-focused approach
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in public accounting or financial services
- Familiarity with tax preparation, audit processes, or industry terminology
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
